My Story

Keeping it brief...

Hi, I'm Fliss. I have lived in North Devon for nearly 30 years.

I am a mother of four amazing children, (two are now adults) who keep me busy and on my toes. They  are my biggest teachers and have taught me so much over the years, patience, gratitude, respect and how to just let go and find that inner child. Forever grateful!

I trained as a Holistic Massage Therapist back in 2007 and since then have broadened my knowledge and further my qualifications with Clinical Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Pregnancy Massage. I truly believe everyone can benefit from massage and all my treatments are tailored to individual clients needs.

I started on my yoga journey whilst pregnant with my second child. I loved how it gave me the time and space to just let go and have some time for me. I continued to practice over the years but only sporadically until 5 years ago when I decided to commit to a daily yoga practice. I can honestly say it has changed my life. I have since completed a foundation course and a 300hr teaching training with the British Wheel of Yoga. It's the best thing I have ever done. I decided to train as a yoga teacher, so I too could share the benefits of yoga with those around me and make it accessible for all; adults, teens and kids.

I currently teach 5 public classes a week, 1:1 Yoga and I am also teaching in local schools, as part of their PE curriculum.

I love teaching children, their enthusiasm and energy is wonderful and watching them use the tools of Yoga to help their overall wellbeing is just heart warming. I feel truly honoured to be able to do this.

Sadly, I have had to close my yoga studio due to Covid-19, However, I have found a great venue to teach from in South Molton and will open again as soon as it is safe to do so. Watch this space!

So that's me...a mum, a partner, a friend, an animal lover, a dreamer, a ponderer, a soul searcher, an adventurer... Sharing what I discover along the way and wanting to make a difference in people's lives. For them to see their true potential and strive for all they desire.

Life is what you make let's make it good :)

From me to you,

Love and Kindness

Fliss xx
